In this large painting, I wanted to capture how the sun was shining so brightly that it was practically white, with a strong reflection on the ocean, and wisps of clouds floating by as the sky started turning pink. I especially love to paint sunsets because of the nuances of color and cloud shapes that make each sky unique, and displaying them is a reminder of how beautiful and special that part of the day can be.
